FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The light is completely autonomous. The built-in solar panel charges the battery during the day. An inbuilt LDR (photo sensor) automatically turns the light ON at dusk and OFF at dawn. No external power supply or cabling is required.
Unlike conventional flat PCB designs that create bright streaks and dark zones, Spaceage mounts LEDs on a cylindrical surface. This delivers truly uniform 360° light intensity at every horizontal angle, fully meeting ICAO requirements without secondary lenses.
Type A has a minimum intensity of >10 cd and is suitable for smaller or lower-risk obstacles. Type B provides higher intensity (>32 cd) and is typically used for slightly taller structures or where greater visibility is needed.
